One thing that people I know during my extensive travels to foreign lands is that they don’t consider prostitutes as “cheating.” So, a paid hook up lets them stay faithful to their wives back home (we’re talking months-long trips here).
For the record, I do consider it cheating, plus I travel with my wife for those long-term gigs.

Yeah, actually I thought this thread was going to be about people giving monthly payments to a hooker. Kind of like a “concierge doctor” situation: pay a certain amount a month and have essentially unlimited access to the service.

You know what pisses me off? The SAME dumbasses who feel they need to prove that they’re all sexually agile when they already have someone, would KILL their SO if the woman ever had a fling. I just wish more guys would stop thinking that it’s the amount of sex that “counts” and just concentrate on the QUALITY of sex with someone they really honestly truely love. Yes, just causal sex feels good…but it’s so BLOWN out of the water by actual lovemaking.
And I have to say, despite what someone asserted that you can find hooker patronage across all class lines, it does seem like it would be more common among the " Yah Dude/ Douchebag" population.

A little over 5 years ago I was between professional jobs and drove a cab to fill in cash while I searched.
I ended up having four escorts here in Phoenix as regular customers. For $100 I’d drive them, wait in the car through their hour long appointment and provide security/collection if there was an issue.
I also scored a deal with a pimp downtown who owned and ran an hourly rate motel as part of his operation. I’d ferry his girls from their homes to his motel and make referrals if a man was looking to score. Guys coming home after failing to hook up at a club were a goldmine.

I can’t speak for the lady prostitutes, or those who operate outside the framework of the Internet, but online, it’s a fairly easy proposition. I would guess I have had in the neighborhood of 30 clients in the m4m realm of craigslist, and this with minimal effort on my part. I imagine if I were either more traditionally attractive or put more time and focus into it, I would be able to do it full-time, but as it stands, I haven’t done anything with it in some time. In the last couple months, I’ve only seen one regular of mine a couple of times, for a massage -> happy ending kind of arrangement, and haven’t posted a single ad since probably March.
Ironically, this has happened in the sector of the population where I feel it is the easiest to jump on craigslist and find a random encounter for free.
