How could I be so blind? (long story)

I don’t know you, pipefitter, but I wish you luck and congratulations.

On a side note, I suppose love can endure much. My mother, 71 years old, is off to see her first husband after 53 years! LOL, he hunted her down to find out about her. Said he never stopped loving her, even after all these years. He is widowed, she is widowed, and who knows – they may get together again. A stepfather after 22 years?!? As long as they are happy :).

Again, congrats.

Just don’t beat on yourself for the missing years: Live the years ahead twice as fully.

Good idea Purplebear, and Persephone, e-mail me to let me know when the fest is, and yes, I’ll bring my SO with me.

Zenster, I do just about kiss the ground that she walks on. And I do consider myself the luckiest man on earth!

Congratulations! That’s wonderful.

Lime green?!?! :stuck_out_tongue: Okay. It’s your wedding, after all. <drug out slowly in a really reluctant-sounding voice> I suppose if you really wanted me to wear orange, I would.

Blush Why, thank you, dear. I’m glad she understands, and that’s very sweet of you to say. I hope to be her friend as well. I do approve, was there really any doubt of that?

Cool. I’ll look forward to the dopefest then.

When I opened this thread, I was sure it was going to be a sad story or something like the thread I’ve been composing in my head but WILL NOT POST.[sub]said as she holds the last tattered remants of her dignity and pride.[/sub]
Congratulations.
Now I’m thinking about talking to old boyfriends…
