Don’t all of us have issues?
Well, recently I’ve been eating more because I want to enjoy it while it lasts 
but a lot of the time I eat one meal a day and it isn’t a big one. As for exercise, as I tell most people: try strapping on 130 lbs and try to do your exercise routine. It’s hard. It hurts. between my already-bad knees and not being able to breathe it is extremely difficult. I used to exersise all the time. I used to take 2 hour bike rides several times a week. I used to do Buns of Steel several times a week. Heck my job used to have me on my feet and dancing for 6 hour shifts. I know how to BE in shape, I don’t seem to be able to GET into shape.
There have been studies done… I think the failure rate for morbidly obese people trying to lose weight by dieting and exercise is something like 90%.
I see this surgery as an option that will work. That is the main issue here. Something that will work. I know that I can do an exercise program. I just can’t do it at 235lbs.
Advice that I follow. Wanting the world to know and wanting the world to use it to fuck with me are two different things, though. And like I said, I’ve been this way my whole life and it’s rarely been a problem.

Opal, you got reamed by some shithead. Period. People who are doing something positive don’t have to hide. This goes for you and the way you live your life, AND the asshole who went behind your back.
It’s the gossip in me, I guess, but I almost wish you would post that asshole’s name in this thread when you find out.
When I see you and the struggle you are having, it gives me hope and makes me grateful. That extra 20 lb from the last baby ain’t that big of a deal! Your motives are none of my business, I am just happy you are doing this for yourself.
You are in my thoughts. I am very excited for you.
Unfortunately, there are people in this world who think they know what is best for everyone else, and it’s possible that some total stranger did such a rotten thing and is now patting themselves on the back for their ‘good deed’. I’ve known such people, and they honestly think they are ‘saving the world’ and won’t believe any different.
Never mind all that, though - I hope the surgery goes well and the results are everything you are hoping for, and more.
