Smoking Ban?! There should be a farting ban!!! It really is a problem. We were in a really crowded pub recently and were delighted when we found a place to sit. We were constantly bombarded with the smell of one fart after another. It was horrible. And, as our heads were at the same level as everyone elses back sides, we were at ground zero so to speak. It’s disgusting to think that we were breathing that stuff in (as well as smoke ;)) all along.
Really? Weird. I’ve been to several lately and am usually asked. Lessee, Applebees, The Olive Garden, Cattle Company, what used to be 13 Moons in Robbinsdale, the Byerly’s restaurant, Oodles (in Merwin Drug in Robbinsdale), lots. And the fast food or buffet places I’ve been always have sections clearly marked so that you can best choose where to sit.
While you’re right in that it is moving that way, I can’t say that I’ve really seen it take hold yet. But I’m usually eating in the 'burbs - haven’t eaten in Mpls in a while.
Yes! I’ve noticed that too. People from smoke-everywhere nations don’t believe me when I tell them. That and the other bodily smells like sweat, feet etc.
