How did this guy do this? GHII, charted The Four Horsemen and kicks ass!

How does a person not only get a song like this charted to the game, but then proceeds to basically master it?

I think it’s a head or two above One as far as technical difficulty. I’ve seen guys try to play One and everyone I’ve seen gets whooped by it. Youtube has videos of people getting past it on Expert but I doubt if anyone has got 100% on it yet.
This guy didn’t get 100% on TFH but he had to be in the upper 90%.

I can appreciate the skill it takes to play a song like that and it may be one of the most challenging songs to play on a guitar and on GH. The few times I tried to play GH I got my ass kicked. I’d need years of practice to be able to catch all those notes on a song like The Four Horsemen, which is probably one of Metallicas best peices by the way. It simply kicks ass and doesn’t get nearly enough credit when mentioning their best work.

So, what do you think? and how does someone “chart a song” on GH?

There’s a tutorial here on how to customize songs. Looks like way more work than I’m willing to put in but that “Four Horseman” chart does look like it would be fun to play. It’s actually not as difficult a song as it sounds like on a real guitar but it’s hella fun to play and I would totally dig having that song on my own memory card if someone else was willing to do all the work.

The dude in the video screwed up some in the solos, but still did better than I could probably do.

It doesn’t seem that it would be much of a problem for someone who played GHI. It seems pretty similar to Bark At The Moon.
