Yup, and I’m at work…and I had taken some Adderall about 20 minutes before I opened up this thread. So I was REALLY into it.

It all started with the bad decision to have any tattoo to begin with.

If that’s real, it’s a tattoo done by somebody with nowhere near the experience to do a tattoo of that size and that complexity, and without competent supervision. Apprenticing tattooists start small, simple and supervised for very good reasons.

I’ve heard of people getting ink in prison when they weren’t arrested. I have no idea how you visit someone in the pokie and come out with a tat, but it does happen. They usually look like this.

If I were being charitable, I would say that the original design (the text and the ribbon) was created by someone with little artistic skill and even less artistic sense. She went to a studio run by a tattoo artist - who happens to be congenitally devoid of shame and professional pride - who scanned the original and slapped the stencil on the victim’s back without question.
