How did this horrible tattoo even happen?

I think the tattoo will look a little better once it heals and loses the bruising and gets washed off. There’s a bunch of loose ink on her skin. I wouldn’t rate this as a horrible, just “mediocre”.

I like the stumptoo. Its shape doesn’t lend itself to much but a dolphin, IMO. And the art is very well-done.
