I found this, and after all the dialect threads that I have seen, I thought it would fit well here.
Just for the record, I am 81% Dixie.

Just for the record, I am 81% Dixie.
I’m 60% Dixie, which is a bit odd since I grew up in Colorado and both my parents grew up near Lake Michigan.
63% Dixie, and I was born and raised in southern New Jersey (by a Yankee family, no less).
47% Yankee, which sort of makes sense considering I’ve spent most of my life in Toronto. I thought it would be a lot higher though.
81% (Dixie). Did you have any Confederate ancestors?
Da-yamn!
I’m a gypsy Texan.
Scratch my above response. Having now read the instructions I realised that changing an answer doesn’t actually change it. So by retaking the test, I got a 57% Dixie. That makes even less sense.
46% yankee. Most of my responses ended up in the “common throughout the US” catagory.
And I thought everyone called it cabbage night. Only prevalant in VT and western MA? Huh.
And Canada.
I’m 44% Yankee which is odd considering I was born and raised in Tennessee by parents that were thoroughly Southern (although in my mom’s case, she was from NYC but otherwise acclimated) and am now living in Nebraska.
44%, barely a Yankee, which is good because because I now live in Dixie…
When my Dad had to go to Central America (several countries) in the early 70s on oil business, there were graffitis every where saying things like “Yankee Go Home!” and the like.
The government guide apologised to Dad and his crew about it.
Dad said, “Don’t bother us none. We’re from Texas.”
91% Dixie.
Where did that 9% creep in? Three little trips to Camden, Maine and my life is changed forever?
My 19% must have slipped in from when I lived in California. At least it was Southern California!
Get a bad full of coke (most likely a Dr. Pepper) and beer from the Party Barn ofn the feeder for the crawdad fest.
95% (Dixie). Is General Lee your father?
Haha I the most southern guy here! Suprising concidering I don’t have a southern accent and I was born in Los Angeles. Most of my answers were either general usage or special Texas or specifically Houston words. I didn’t have many southeastern words.

68% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score!
Yeehaw. So I’m a southerner who says “yous” for “ya’ll” and is a little more dialectually inclined towards Savannah than Houston.
75% (Dixie). That is a pretty strong Southern score!
I just became less souther. I realized I would I only say route as root if I was talking about a specifc road like Route 66, but I’d say it as rout for normal noun usage.
92% Dixie. Everyone’s always telling me I don’t have a Southern accent, but by gum I did grow up down here.
58 percent Dixie. Yee-haw!
I scored 68% Dixie getting similar answers for most of mine. Maybe 2 came up as “predominantly in the southeast” - I spent my formative years in the Baltimore area and I promise I have not been assimilated despite living in Florida for 17 of the last 20 years. I don’t drink sweet tea and I don’t like grits…
I question the accuracy of this quiz.
48% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.
I’m Californian (northern). Odd, well, maybe not.
Must have Mr Chatty (Sicilian) take it later.
