Whenever I enter Straight Dope for example… I only have to type “r” and my username shows up “rashak mani”. This makes for quick typing of usernames and search requests.
… but how do I delete them from the memory of the computer ? Or stop the computer from getting more ?
oh oh oh I know!!!
If you don’t want to turn the feature off entirely, you can actually delete the JUST incorrect ones by highlighting them with the mouse and pressing the delete key (on the keyboard).
I was compelled to turn off the feature (to clear everything) and then turn it back on.
You see, I open google, and clicked in the search field, and everything (WEIRD GROSS, SICK) I’ve searched for was still there. My significant other might be a little freaked out. Of course I would explain I was only googling answers for Roland on Straight Dope, but I wanted to avoid the hassle.
