How do I find people to read my non-fiction book as I write it?

I am writing a speculative philosophical non-fiction book about robots, Artificial Intelligence, Conscious machines, and the destiny of the human race. I want to find people who will read and critique it while it is still in progress.

How do I find and recruit people for such peer review??

Any ideas? Thanks.

May I kindly direct you to AuthorsDen.com. For a small fee, you can have a REAL presence on the web. Plus there are millions of people out there who just love to read, even books in progress.

I personally use it for my poetry. Just type my name Red Matrix in google and it’s the 3rd link. <-- yes , i’m proud of that somehow. Or, just click here.

Check out www.everything2.com - it’s mostly oriented toward briefer articles, but there are people who’ve posted quite long works in sections, and you oughta get great feedback.

Bug your riends, especially if they have an interest in that area. That’s what I did.

You might find a local author’s club. Many of them meet t area libraries. I did that, too.

If you’re near a college or university that has a department specializing in the ara you’re writing about, speak to the people there.
