How do I follow National Security Expert Fred Kaplan? (Twitter, RSS)

I can’t find Fred Kaplan’s Twitter account or RSS feed. I enjoy his work and I would like to know when he publishes an article somewhere.

I haven’t mastered either technology and may have missed something obvious. There are 2 Fred Kaplans on Twitter, but neither refers to this guy.

Anyone who still has a hotmail account may not have figgured out that there newfangled twitterer thingy yet.

I kinda suspect he’s not into that, but if you go to http://www.fredkaplan.info you can get on his mailing list. If you’re into jazz, he also has a blog.

Looks like he writes for Slate, which has a RSS feed. The feed includes author names, so a good RSS reader may be able to filter or highlight his articles for you.

I use google reader and can’t seem to find a filter option. What is “A good RSS reader”?
