It occurs to me that anybody can get thier own show on cable access (here in Austin, TX). I mean really, i’ve seen some pretty boring (and stupid) stuff on there. The question is then, how can I get my own show? Must i take some video classes at ACC or UT first? What’s the deal? Thanks in advance…
It depends on the community. Some have training requirements, some have decency requirements, etc. The general procedure is to call up your local access cable station and say, “How do I get my own show?”
