I am talking about the Zapatista guerillas here. I am interested in how one would get from America to Mexico and meet up with them. Marcos has been very good at communicating with the press; would I be able to get ahold of them? Just a pipe dream here, not that I would actually do it.
Of course, Vincente Fox may make the EZLN obsolete with his agreements with them.

They had a big protest march on Mexico City recently. There were plenty of Zapatistas appearing in public then. You could have probably tied a bandanna around your face and blended right in. You might be too late now. I looked all around http://www.ezln.org and couldn’t find a membership application anywhere.
First of all, before you go into Mexico, I have to remind you that it is illegal for any tourist or foreigner to partake in political activities in Mexico and yes those include marching in an EZLN march.
Second of all, if you want to get a hold of 'em or meet with 'em, I guess you mean travelling to Chiapas. If you want to try to long route, you might want to contact that site that has been sited: http://www.ezln.org. Though, it might best to start with their civilian wing of their movement at their web page at http://www.fzln.org.mx/.
Third, a better way, I would recommend that you try the EZLN supporters in the US. You can visit these two sites as a start:

I don’t think so. Not to start a debate, but you can’t paper away corruption, poverty, and social injustice. As a matter of fact, there are other guerrilla groups active in Mexico (EPR, ERPI, etc.).
Well, if you mean that seriously, well, you are never going to find a member form anywhere in their webpage. Why? Revolutionary movements don’t have membership forms. If you really want to become active in the Zapatista movement w/i Mexico, try the FZLN page or join local groups in the US.
