A while back I posted the question, “How long does a thread last on this board?” (Apparently it lasts forever – I simply assumed the five or six pages of threads that come up when you click on a particular forum’s link were all the active threads there were, and the rest were closed or retired.) In any case, somebody posted a link by which I could search for and access all posts made under my user name. However, for some reason, that very useful link stopped working after a couple of weeks. How do I search for all my posts to date? I can’t seem to find a button or option for that purpose anywhere on any screen in the board.
Click on the blue button at the top right corner of the thread screen that says “Search”. Enter your name. Set the parameters of the search to as far back in time as you require, across all forums.
You can bring up all of your posts (or someone elses, for that matter) by clicking on the persons profile button. When the profile comes up, in the upper right is a link saying Search for all posts by this user.

Looks like Ice Wolf and Santos L Halper need to split the cigar this time, folks. Both would lead to the desired effect.
How about just clicking on the “Search” button on the bottom of any one of your posts?
Oh, and it’s okay, Coldfire, I don’t smoke.
As I don’t smoke either, Santos L Halper can have my share.
Another remark: Searches are very tiring for the board software, so it’s not a good idea to do a board-wide search just for the heck of it. If you do have reason to use a search, it helps a lot if you can restrict it to one forum at a time, and limit the date range as much as possible.
