How do I search for old EBay auctions?

I am thinking of buying an item on EBay. They are commonly found on EBay but cost several hundred to a couple thousand dollars depending on quality. I would like to look at previous auctions for the same item before I start bidding.

How can I search the EBay archives for completed auctions?

How can I search the EBay archives for completed auctions?

Just click on the “advanced search” and then on “completed auctions only.” It will call up auctions that closed within the last 30 days. Easy!
