How do i turn off the annoying internal lights on my PC?

Imgur album links will contain /a/ , followed by some random letters and numbers. You should be able to get the URL from the share button on the image post

I posted the pictures on Xitter so, i dont know if you need an account to see those, but here they are:

I have a Dell desktop with internal lights and the unit came preloaded with an app to control them. I can turn off all but one bright white set of lights so to deal with the issue, I put my PC in the OFF mode.

Thanks, that worked.

I see you have Kingston HyperX RAM sticks. You can get the control software here:

There should be a mode that turns it off completely.

There’s something else illuminated on the left that I can’t quite make out. Give the Kingston controller a shot first and let us know if that’s sufficient. If not, we might need more pictures of whatever’s on the left.

First step is to find out what software is controlling the lights. ASUS Aura? ASrock Sync? Corsair iCue?

Which goes to the elephant in the room: what components are those? There are general-purpose software offerings that can control RGB lighting of different motherboard and add-in-board manufacturers, but knowing the specific manufacturers allows you to pick the best solution.

Short of blocking the transparent panel with something opaque, there are no absolutely general answers.

I have a gaming PC with a remote to turn off the LEDs. Turning them off in the BIOS apparently resets.
I would thing you could just unplug or cut the wires that supply the LEDs.
