Ok. Your first point. I care her loans were paid off. If she don’t means taxpayers have to eat it. I didn’t make these laws. I didn’t take out her loans. Good for her. She could’ve done it like everyone else, slow and steady.
Your second problem, I have no cites, this is my opinion. I would say that the porn business is far and above the worst industry in treating women like scum. Starting from the pimps grooming runaways, to strip club owners, porn producers to the clients of call girls. These women are on the bottom rung. No society respects them no matter how cute Julia Roberts was in Pretty Woman.
It doesn’t mean other industries shouldn’t do better. They should. But we’re not talking about this teacher in another industry, are we?
NO! SHE COULDN’T. Everyone else could pay it off by doing porn and they wouldn’t lose their jobs. I have met a lot of women who paid for college by stripping. They don’t publicize it but they don’t hide it. I’m sure many of the amateur pornstars are using it as well to pay for school or school loans. But you are not saying they should be fired just teachers. So again a double standard for teachers.

So far, the two comments from you that seem to sum up your view on the matter are (1) teachers are not role models (“I wasn’t hired to be a role model”), and (2) the background and off-campus activities of a teacher are no more relevant than those of the guy who picks up your garbage, the viewpoint we see here.
To me, that’s pretty sadly misguided. I value and respect teachers, I think they should be paid well, but I also hold them to the highest standards. Others have the same beliefs and maybe that’s why schools around here are pretty successful at turning out well-educated students, both academically and socially. None of the teachers are porn stars, AFAIK.

I can see an argument for discouraging middle school teachers, maybe also high school teachers, from posting sex videos, because their students are kinda suffering hormone poisoning. Beck, there are different types of porn. The studios that put out grainy videos are not OnlyFans. OnlyFans is pretty much people shooting their own video in their own home under conditions they control. It’s like YouTube for sex videos. If my kid wants to publish sex videos, i hope they do it in a place like OnlyFans.

How does having an Onlyfans account fall below your highest standards? Would you favor firing a teacher that cheats on their spouse? That’s a clear moral violation, and a terrible role model for students. If it became known (as it often does) should the teacher be fired for their poor choices?
Anecdote:
The lil’wrekker has dreamed of being a class room teacher since she was teaching her Dolls and Teddy bears before kindergarten.
There is nothing she would do to compromise that goal. Nothing.
She’s in the Community theatre while working on her masters. She worries about each role she has played or will play that it may seem salacious in any way. She takes her reputation very seriously. It’s that important to her.
I want every teacher to feel about teaching enough to hold it in high regard. I imagine it’s often a thankless feeling job.
It’s terrible how low the pay for this very valuable service is.

Prefacing with I understand this is your opinion, and nothing else, but I disagree with any judgments of what is “obvious” and what someone else’s mindset is about their love for their profession as well as what they “should” have. You wanna do porn? Fine. Doesn’t mean you don’t love teaching. I fail to see how that follows, but I don’t understand a lot of what people consider “moral” and “immoral.” That’s enough for me.
