Yeah, before Internet you typically had to come up with your own hardcopy or attend a special theatre. Those were the two easiest ways at that time. Go back another 20 years and you don’t have VCRs or DVDs either, then just film. Another 100 years and no film at all. I’m assuming people still masturbated back then.

30 years ago, despite being on air, Seinfeld was not particularly widely available. Nothing like today.

Maybe we were bigger assholes in my day than yours, or maybe kids are nicer in Europe (You’re European IIRC?). But when I was in school you’d absolutely be savaged for that.
There was a girl in my grade whose mom had an affair with the principal, and people made fun of her for that.
Back in the day you could go to a theatre to watch a movie. But you couldn’t jack off to it, you got arrested for that. Whether it was a porno or not. There were special theatres, you could still get arrested but yeah they existed. I don’t know what the ratio of all movie watching to porn was back then, probably a lot less porn was watched because of the barriers to entry.
No porn on over the air TV either, they had standards for that.

You can go down a rabbit hole of “what ifs”, but there are degrees of “behavior unbecoming a teacher” and I believe teacher porn is above the threshold of public opinion. Being cheated on falls way below.
Take it the other absurd direction. Would you be OK if your young daughter’s male teacher defecated in front of her every day in the classroom? Why not? Defecating is legal.
