That’s all I wanted to know, thanks

That don’t work, Anthracite. If you’re using a Windows® based computer, you can do it by holding down one of the Alt keys, then pressing 0153 on the numerical keypad, then letting go of Alt.
The registered trademark symbol is Alt+0174, by the way.
Unsure of how to do it on a Mac. Thank you for listening!™
™ vs. [sup]TM[/sup]
They both work, in different ways.
Ah. But anthracite put “sup,” which is not a valid vB code, instead of “sub,” which is.
Sub: [sub]TM[/sub]
Sup: [sup]TM[/sup]
See?
Oh…I see. He turned off the vB code. Both Sup and Sub are valid, for SUPerscript and SUBscript, respectfully.

[sub]TM[/sub]
[sup]TM[/sup]
Thank You!
There’s also ™ which I think works with all browsers made in the last few years.
To get vB tags to display, use this method:
[[b][/b]sup]blah[[b][/b]/sup] => [sup]blah[/sup]
And Anthracite’s a she. They don’t let guys be Coal Goddesses nor members of the Unholy Lesbian Vampire Army of the Night.
Oh, yeah ™ => ™
I like html escape sequences, as they are easier to keep track of than ascii codes (for example, an o with an umlaut is ö). There’s also the Character Map, if you want to take the time for it.
That works. Probably a better way is:
[sup]blah[/sup] => [sup]blah[/sup]
dreamer: did you try reading the FAQ?
nope Arnold, but thank you for the reminder
See here: HTML Name codes or Number codes (this link is also mentioned in the FAQ)
Merchants of Death [sub]TM[/sub]
I like the convoluted method for [symbol]ä[/symbol]
[symbol****]ä[/symbol] where ä is ALT+0228
