I have a post-operation stomach wrap (very much like a girdle.) It fastens with velcro. The velcro seems to be collecting stuff and losing its sticking power.
Anyone know how to clean it?
I find that any accumulated fluff can be teased out with tweezers; if there’s a fair bit of it, it comes out all matted together, like a bit of felt.
I use a velcro cleaning brush that I stole from my wardrobe mistress in college. You can probably get one at a fabric store.
Acording to this page, velcro recomends cleaning it with another piece of velcro, which is pretty much like the cleaning brush, only without a handle.
