Late add: While we’re discussing holidays, I got to wondering about a source for world holidays, and how far I’d have to stretch to celebrate something, if only with a toast, every day of the year. This site looks fairly promising as a source. Scrolling down a bit I see … I don’t know what Sri Lankans will be doing tomorrow (Thu) on “Duruthu Full Moon Poya Day” but it sounds like a promising excuse for a party!
