something i haven’t done since high school. how do you fold a note into a heart shape?
Heh. Google, “origami heart”, Hit #1, took about 2 seconds. I LOOOOVE the Internet.
Browse, pick one.

on “two simple hearts,” step three: what does “valley fold inside” mean? i can’t figure it out.
hmm… i don’t think this site has what i’m looking for. the way we used to do it, the note made a very secure little packet that could be tossed across a room without unfolding…
i just can’t figure it out!!!
Valley fold?
Take a piece of paper and fold it in half- if the crease is down it makes a “valley”. Theres probably a word for the crease-up position but I can’t recall it.
Romana
i got that, but in the context it didn’t seem to make sense. anyway, like i said, i don’t think it was what i was looking for anyway.
thanks, though, ddg.
maybe this will help me get an answer. you know how you fold a paper football? like you fold it in half and then again so it’s a long rectange, and then fold it into triangles like a flag, and tuck the last bit in? it’s like that, only it ends up as a heart.
There are links to the the folds at the top of the page DDG gave the URL for.
If you click on the picture of the “Dollar Bill Heart” (it’s in the second set of pictures, not the first) it takes you to this gif of folding instructions. I’m pretty sure this is the heart you’re talking about.
sigh, i saw that link already, thanks. it’s not what i’m trying to do.
i guess i’m going to have to commandeer a junior high schooler to teach me.
