I’m writing a nice little letter and I only have small envelopes, which are, supposedly, love letter envelopes (I’d say they are about 6 by 3, estimating). The small envelopes make it hard to fold the letter in a nice way. Usually I’d fold the letter twice and it would fit inside the envelope, but with these small ones, I’m going to have to fold more then twice, vertically and horizontally. Is there a proper way to fold a love letter, or should I go find bigger envelopes?
If you’re talking about 8.5" x 11" paper and a standard monarch envelope, you fold the paper in half (creating a 5.5" x 8.5" form), then fold in thirds (creating a 5.5" x 2.83" form).
An origami heart? I wish that I were clever enough to pull this off.
An anatomically correct heart would be even more awesome…
