Use cold water to wash your hands - hot water opens up the pores and the smell gets in.
I think this is right. I probably got it from this very forum
Way back when, my roommate and I both worked at a small restaurant who’s specialty was French onion soup. We were both “dating” guys who worked with us at the restaurant, and we both thought we had come down with some STD that made our hoo-hoos smell like onions.
It was just everybody hands though.
