How do you get Vista to show "hovering"

This is kind of hard to describe. At work I have IE7. When I hover over a link in the Dope, at the bottom of the screen it shows the link’s address.

At home, I have Vista, and it doesn’t show me anything. What kind of setting will allow it to show the address?

I have Home Premium package, on a new computer I bought about three months ago.

It sounds as though you’re talking about the IE Status Bar.

In IE 7 or 8, right-click on some blank space in the tool bar (or to the right of the tabs) and check Status Bar.

IE problem. Not Vista.

In IE, press ALT to show the menu bar, select View -> Toolbars -> Status Bar
