Stupid Computer Question

I let my six year old play around on a kiddie website, and he somehow managed to make my IE toolbar disappear. Well, I got it all back, with one exception: the address bar, you know, the little white rectangular box where you can type in URL’s?
It’s gone and I can’t seem to get it back. I right-clicked on the toolbar and it has an option to check “address”, but it just puts a little button on the far right edge of the toolbar next to the “links” button.

How do I restore this to the way I had it?

I don’t use IE 7, I have the version before that, whatever it is…6?

From what you say the address bar is there but hidden because it is on the same line as other bars. If it is checked then uncheck “lock the toolbars”. Put the cursor just to the left of it to where it becomes a vertical line with two arrows to the sides and drag it down to its own toolbar line. Then you can lock the toolbars again so they can’t be moved.

That took care of it, thank you very much. Learn a new thing every day!
