I have windows XP, and have recently acquired a nasty little toolbar that I can’t seem to get rid of. It goes to a website called Nester. Any thoughts?
I’m going to guess that you mean Netster, and its Netster Smartbrowse toolbar. If so, my first suggestion would be to run Ad-Aware SE (free version) on your system, and ensure that you have the latest definitions.
Just a suggestion…
Download a copy of Hijack This, run it, and look for anything odd with an R1 designation. If your little annoyance appears there, just check the box and let Hijack This fix it for you.
