I went to the Uber website. Put in number and it sends a f****n verification code to my phone. Which I dont have! Am I screwed?

But I don’t know if this assumes you’ve already set up an account via the phone app. Uber is designed to be used with a smartphone, so it’s not going to be too easy without one.
Yeah I saw that link. It says you can still log in to your account if you dont have your phone. But then it sends a verification code to your phone.

I DO have the phone app. Use it all the time. But I left my phone elsewhere and now can’t get a ride. I’ll laugh about this tomorrow but at the moment i’m in a bind. i DO have my health though. 
…and my friends noticed it and just returned it to me. Problem solved.
God, we are way to reliant on these things. I’ve been in a sweat about what stupid email or text I missed from work. (on call this week). It’s like when the power goes out or a pipe bursts. You don’t realize how screwed you’d be if it were long term until it happens.
