Aceplace57, I think that’s kind of a clever way you have of doing it. Bringing the tags up with the click of a button, then just changing the text of the tag.
Is ther an easier way? Id feel kinda stupid if there was.
Aceplace57’s way is easier than how I usually do it, which is by searching this page, every time, to make sure I have the code right.

If you’re ever curious about how some bit of coding is done, quote a post that did that formatting and the coding will be visible in the text box.

The exception being [noparse]
[/noparse] tags. To see how those are done, you have to actually click on the Quote button to start a new quote, and look at the code (as noted above by [noparse][/noparse]aceplace57[noparse][/noparse]).
My strategy, useful for this and many many other computerized activities: Just look up the coding each time I need it. Without even trying, I will quickly memorize the ones that I use most often. The ones I use least often, I might need to look up every time, but since I don’t use those often, I’m not wasting too much time doing that.

Hitting the quote button was what I was suggesting, so it works for the quote tags as well, since they appear once you’ve quoted a post.

For those who didn’t click the Quote button, Senegoid is referring to Noparse tags.
Noparse tags are easy. You just put in [noparse][noparse]…[/noparse][/noparse] just like everything else.
Speaking only for myself, nested spoilers tend to be annoying and I won’t bother clicking on them.
