Getting an ultrasound today, stopped off at the bathroom (as I do so often these days). A chart on the wall described “Your Birth Control Options” with a list of birth control methods down the side and columns headed “How It Works” “How Effective Is It” “How Much Does It Cost” etc.
Next to the IUD (generic, not a specific brand) it said it worked by preventing sperm from fertilizing eggs. I though it worked by preventing fertilized eggs from implanting. Is the chart fudging the facts?
