How Does One Become a Chiropractor?

Just wondering how do I find such schools? Is the program less daunting? Do they still do interning and residency? Also, I am assuming they do not get involved in surgery nor writing prescriptions, correct? Is there a doctor who gives back talk in the house? - Jinx

I know in my town of Spartanburg, South Carolina, there is a chiropractic college.

There’s Logan College of Chiropractic here in St. Louis. There’s also Palmer, but I don’t know where they are located.

Main campus of Palmer is in Davenport, Iowa. IIRC, they also have a branch campus in Sunnyvale, CA.

Important question: Do you want to become a chiropractor, or a doctor of chiropractic? As I understand it, the profession is very poorly regulated, such that almost any schmo can call himself the former, regardless of training, but there’s some regulation on the latter.
