At least, I think it’s about New York. I have this vague recollection that someone, perhaps Dorothy Parker, once said something along the lines of “If you can’t have fun in New York, you’re just not trying hard enough!” But the exact wording is escaping me.

Does anyone know how the quote went, and who said it? Google is no help today.
