How Far Do You Live From an Interstate Highway?

Google Maps says I’m 24 miles from the Capital Beltway, which is undoubtedly the furthest I’ve lived from an interstate highway since the Capital Beltway was built.

As the crow flies, just over a mile (I used Google Maps’ distance measurement tool). Driving, something like 4ish miles to the nearest entrance.

By my estimate, about 3 miles from the 10.

Less than a mile to I880. I’ve walked over the bridge over it, and walked my dog almost to it. That’s an entrance ramp. Even less if you mean just over it - something like 7 blocks.

585 miles and I live in the US

85 miles to the closest Canadian equivalent.

About half a mile as the crow flies but about a mile of driving to the entrance which is at the convergence of two different highways (I-695 and I-83).

Approximately 3 miles, to I-90 in Westlake OH, as the Google maps flies.

Less than a mile from I-87 as the crow flies; it’s probably about a mile and a half driving distance. I’m actually a little closer to the future I-86.

17.6 miles to I-55. How do you people stand living so close to the traffic?

I don’t really hear it. Kinda tuned it out after the first couple of nights living here.

About ten miles to 57.

When traffic was backed up real bad once I figured out in one place I can connect to my home wi-fi, while sitting in a car on the interstate.

less than 4 miles from three interstates

8 miles.

Now about 1.5 miles from the 101. Where I was born the driveway came directly off the 101, and actually at one time split the property.

35 miles to I-95/I-495 (DC Beltway), exit 7

50 miles to I-95 at Fredericksburg, VA

56 miles to I-97 at Annapolis

The actual freeway is about a mile away. I can see it over on the other side of the river. But it’s about 10 miles to the nearest onramp.

About 4000 miles from the North end of I-95, but Google Maps wants to route me across Eurasia then “sail across the Pacific Ocean” then cross country Mostly I-90)for a total of over 30,000 kilometers.

I’m about 5 miles from I-25

That’s awesome.
