Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
Hi Baker. I used my zip code for better accuracy as well.

I’ve never actually been through Lebanon. Even by north/central KS standards, it’s a* tiny* village. Smith Center is as close as I get and I only pass through it on my way to my Dad’s house.
You folks need to think about a Dopefest at Lebanon after the storm season slacks up and before it gets too hot (if it’s not already) and gather round the monument for pictures and what all. Anybody within 250 miles (more if they feel like the ride) ought to be invited. Might set a pattern for other weirdness of that sort.
Count me in.
351 miles for now. I’m packing for a move to Champaign-Urbana so soon I’ll be much further away.
From Hamilton, I used Google Maps and got 1858 km
I don’t think Cat Whisperer’s number was supposed to be for Toronto. Calgary airport is in a very different part of Canada.
Let me double-check with Google maps - 1403 miles, 23 hours for Calgary to Lebanon.
Toronto to Lebanon - 1188 miles, 19 hours 55 mins.
Are you the winner from the other end - furthest away?
It does, however, know YYZ. And the answer is 1176.3 miles.
I’m sorry, that season does not exist.
I had a sneaky feeling I was talking nonsense, especially with the monster storms these days. I had no idea when I started this thread that Lebanon was going to be in the middle of all the bad weather. I just hope I didn’t contribute to jinxing anybody.
1107 miles. Just a hop, skip, and jump away. (Provided I’m superman.)
No, looks like Perth Australia, or somewhere in India would be further.
Straight line: 6100 km
Roads: 9100
From my house in Central Pennsylvania to Lebanon, Kansas is 1226 miles west.
1495.5 miles
Sacramento, CA
Ooh. I spent a week there once, on business. My host was offended when I asked if I could get Chicago-style pizza. I had to settle for Champaign-Urbana style pizza. Still tasty.

Just in case that Dopefest idea gets more than a few smiles y’all might be interested in a little more trivia about the place.
This post has a “big picture” from which this is the key point:

13,945km from Sydney. Damm, can’t even get the booby prize for last place.
1054.3 from my zip code in Pittsburgh.
1175.8 miles, 17 hrs 25 min
Not that far.
