We all love a good train wreck, but this one is scary.
When I’m not talking about politics, if you’ll notice, I’m not nasty or cruel. For whatever reason, politics just brings out this other person. I get so worked up in it and so fucking enraged. Politics is like a drug. I don’t watch sports, I don’t watch soap operas, so for me politics is the equivalent.
My family is estranged from me for reasons that actually are not of my own making. They’re genuinely unkind people. Actually, their estrangement, and their lifelong favoritism of others over me, is part of what festers my anger.
When I’m talking about movies or TV or music, I’m a nice person. It’s like there’s two me’s. Which is sad, really.
If it brings out the worst in you, stay away from it. Why feed the anger? It’s not doing you or anyone else any good. I like the other Reddy. This one, I don’t.

The Nazis hated pretty much everyone who didn’t conform to some mystical ideal of a superhuman, with Occult-ish overtunes about the lost civilization of Thule, whose whole creed was based around the hatred of Jews and extermination of both the Jews and anyone deemed undesirable…Which is why I get pretty angry when called such. Like Trump. I don’t think he’s a Nazi. I don’t think he could even tell you anything about Fascism or Hitler, really, if you asked him. I think he has supporters who are Neo-Nazis, but I think he fancies himself a strongman with no real ideology. He’s most akin to a Russian oligarch than anything else. Hitler and Mussolini had, for all their evil, ideologies which drove their actions. Trump’s incompetent because he is driven by whatever impulse he has at the moment. He has nothing to drive him outside of momentary gain. Trump’s only ideology is what best serves Trump. I don’t think Trump is even necessarily a true White Nationalist. Steve Bannon may have been, but Trump just strikes me of a class of his own. He’s a Trump Nationalist. I think he just sides with the White Nationalists because they’re the only diehard supporters he has. If the LGBT community was his base I think he’d pander to them just as hard.
