I’m sorry I didn’t get back to the thread for so long, but real life was happening. I now have a mama cat and 6 kittens. All of them fixed and ready to go to adoptions tomorrow.

Anyhow, I have NO patience for people who abuse Customer Service People. I’ve been there, and it really bites to have to take the abuse that some people seem to think that service drones should take. I’ve been known to yell at people who yell at the cashier over the price of gas. Heck, I’ve bitched people out for reaching into tip jars.
The CSP has no control over anything, they are just working that job to pay the bills. They will risk their job if they say anything except “Yes” and “Thank you”. They are doing the best they can.
Had the goth guy not been there, I don’t think I’d have started singing. It was his “cultist” shirt that inspired me. Random thing that will never, ever happen again, but the results were awesome.
BTW…if anyone wants to make the cashiers really, REALLY happy…when you walk by those motion activated noise makers…shut them off. It only takes a minute do it. They can’t shut them off, not allowed. If a customer does it, all is good. Usually, the buttons are in the back or on the bottom. Do it, and you will get good thoughts and blessings.
(mis) using “pwned” and singing H.P. Lovecraft inspired songs in public would only have the word “cool” ascribed to it on the SDMB. 
When I was a cashier once I had this old German lady come in and say “YOU ALLOW CHILDREN TO RUN IN HERE!” and I said “There’s not really a lot I can do about it.” and she said “CHILDREN ARE ALL JUST LITTLE MONSTAHS!!!” I couldn’t help but laugh in her face… and these kids weren’t really even being that annoying, she just obviously hated kids so much their mere prescence bothered her.
