Yeah, this is funky. Who sees whose posts showing up with wingdings, and what browsers are they using?
I’m using the venerable Netscape 4.7, and I see wingdings in Tamex’, KingFriday’s, Ashkicker’s, Beadalin’s, and my own posts.
If I shift over to IE 5.0, I also see the WebDings in Nutmagnet’s and Oicu812’s posts, as well as the WingDings in the aforementioned posts.

I didn’t find a real peace sign in Wingdings. (You mean the circle with the lines in it, right?) Yeah, I’m aware of the double meaning.
Maybe it needs some { { { { flowers or something :).

Bah. These people, no spirit of scientific investigation. J I also wondered, quickly came up with the conclusion you were using some odd font (I initially thought of symbol rather than wingdings), and confirmed this in about a minute by checking the page source.

I’m running mozilla by the way, and no problems seeing any of the fonts here.
I’m slightly worried we’re going to see an explosion of these all across the board as people thing “Oooh! I can do pretty pictures, how cool!”, but no doubt the overall good taste ( ::snerk:: ) of the SDMB will win out. J

Erk. I’ve suddenly remembered that we’re not really supposed to be posting messages in odd fonts as it makes it difficult to moderate. If any moderator objects to that last line I apologise for it - simply slipped my mind. I promise it’s nothing too rude.
