Cold cream’s a great but messy way to remove skin makeup and it touts itself as ‘deep cleansing’ on the bottle. But it leaves my skin feeling greasy and is made of mineral oil, beeswax, ceresin (wax), sodium borate and carbomer; is the argument that my face is clean of makeup if not actually clean of anything artificial on its surface? My face breaks out so easily I wash it again to remove the filmy feeling.
it is a grease that removes other greases well, better than soap for that type of stuff. soap then can more easily remove the cleanser grease.
Bolded part: Pretty much. You are probably smart to re-wash.
Some people would probably recommend that you moisturize after that. Or, you could just not wear makeup.
It’s rare that I do day-to-day but we have functions to go to where I feel better with my skin uniform and when I’m confident I have a better time. We can’t afford fancy cocktail dresses for dining outs, etc but I can do my best to look very well put together.
