So I got my favorite lists set up. (About 29 music videos) So out of the list I’ll select like six videos and hit “play all” because they don’t have a “play selected” button.
The problem is, that it will play every frick’n video in the list! and NOT just the ones I selected!
Seriously, how can a website as big as YouTube have such a shitty user interface?
Is it them? Or am I just stupid and not doing it right?
Do the videos have a plus sign that shows up on the bottom right of the thumbnail when you hover your mouse over it? Click that to add to your queue then move to the next one. Then start playing your queue and enjoy!
They’ve got the most (safe-for-work) content. Including lots of deals with major movie and music studios that guarantee you can find at least clips of most popular artists. (Helps if you’ve got google behind you to fight out those kinds of deals).
They’ve got by far the most registered users, which encourages more content and more ad views, which is what pays for the site.
The user interface of youtube really does suck in lots of small but important ways, though. I’ve been trying to find a way to remove “friends” for months since I accidentally added two assholes. As far as I can find out, that functionality hadn’t worked for at least a year, until it suddenly did a month ago.
I’ve done it with more than 3 videos. My only issue with it is if I start a queue while a video is playing, it won’t automatically start the queue after the video is over.
