Mysterious object probably space junk
Apparently, people were all disappointed that it was most likely leftover satellite or space program scrap instead of some exotic natural ore. So the reporter said it’s “not a meteorite”!
It’s junk that fell from space!!! It’s something that fell through the entire atmosphere without disintegrating, & hit ground! That’s a meteorite!
Unless, you know, it isn’t orbital debris, but sub-orbital debris. Then it’s a hunk of metal. A demi-hemi-semi-meteorite, if you will.
