I wake every weekday morning at 7:00 AM and without fail I do the same on the weekends. I do however, fight through and sleep til about 12 on the weekends. It sounds like a girl thing from what I have been reading from all of you…
Weekends, I get up anywhere between 7:30 and 10:00 depending on what time I went to bed, how much I had to drink, how bad the dogs are harassing me, whether I’m going on a long bike ride.
I try to get 8 hours, and not much more, every day of the week.
I wake up on week days at 5:00 with no alarm. On weekends I wake up around the same time, and usually drift in and out of sleep until 7 or so. If my band has played until 2 AM, I sometimes sleep as late as 8.
I’m usually up between 8 and 10 on a normal Saturday or Sunday, if I go to bed between 10 and midnight the night before. If I’m really hung over or something, I can sleep the whole day away.
Regardless of when I go to bed I rarely sleep past 07.00, and more often than not I’m awake, if not in motion, prior to 06.00. 'Course, it’s a good night when I sleep for 5 hours more or less straight. If I’m in bed before midnight, I’m probably not going to sleep through the night.
If I had a choice about it I’d go to bed around 5 AM and wake up around noon or so. For the most part I do that on weekends, other than times when I party a bit too much and sleep comes a bit sooner.
I get up at 4:45 for work. So on weekends, if I’m lucky, I can sleep in till 7, but only if the critters will allow it. If they’re hungry or if the dog needs to go out, I’ll be up.
Which is fine - I’m a morning person. If I don’t get something started by 8, I feel as if I’ve wasted my day.
If I can, I sleep until I wake up. Depending on when I went to bed and how much I need the sleep, I wake up as early as 7:30 or as late as 2:00. Average is probably between 9:00-10:30.
During the summer Japan isn’t on daylight savings time and I’m so used to having daylight savings time that I end up waking up at 5:30 or 6:00 sometimes and can’t get back to sleep. Damn Japanese, damn sun, not sure which to damn more for this.
4:30, 5:00 am the latest, unless I’ve been out partying til all hours. Even then, I won’t sleep past 9:00. I’ll take a nap or two on post-party days, but generally, if I’m sleeping at 7:00 am, you might want to call the paramedics.
I’m not certain if I am one of the “super early” waker upers or not but it will ranger from 11 p.m. to 1 or 2 a.m. on the weekends and more like 10:30 to midnight on week days.
