How long before they work the bugs out of the new Mac G5s?

Me and the wife are in desperate need of a new Mac and we figured we’d treat ourselves to one of those shiny new G5s when they become readily available. However, I’m a big believer in buying the second generation of new technology to avoid this chip or that fan not really working like they thought it would.

My question is, how long, do you suppose, before they’ll work the bugs out of the new technology?

Only bug I’ve heard of so far is that VirtualPC (now owned by Microsoft) doesn’t appear to function on the G5 due to a missing instruction routine on the G5 chip itself.
