Like a dummy, I din’t think it anything other than just a typical bug at first. Tuesday eve I felt unusually fatigued after a bike ride. That night and throughout Wed, I felt fatigued and had chills. Pretty much slept much of the day/night. Had a fever, which has been dropping since. Fortunately did not go out anywhere or expose anyone other than my wife - who seems symptom-free. Tested this morning as I was supposed to go into the office. Glad I did.
Doc prescribed an anti-viral, and I’m feeling quite well right now.
Sorry you got it, glad you’re mending well (and rather quickly).
Hopefully you won’t rebound. I didn’t, but almost three weeks out, I still get tired more easily than I should (and some sniffles, too). Maybe I’m just getting old!
I did get a little icky feeling (scratchy throat, runny nose and sore skin without a fever) for a few hours when unvaxxed hubs had his third bout, but the first test showed a really faint line and the others didn’t so I doubt I had it then.
I’d have to dig my cards out to be able to count all of the jabs I’ve had, plus I turned 65 and have been getting all of the old farts shots as well.
That hubs of yours. shakes head Anyway, if you had a faint line, you may have had a very mild case. False positives are much more rare than false negatives. Good thing you had all your jabs. I suppose the Hubs doesn’t seem to be able to make that connection.
To the best of my knowledge I still haven’t had it.
I’ve had all the vaccinations, only wear a mask when it’s mandatory and otherwise take no precautions. I’ve tested a few times when I’ve been exposed to someone who had it, but otherwise no symptoms to prompt a test.
Wanna guess which one is in charge? Nah, you have cats, you already know!
Oh yeah, they are so sweet and innocent. ROTFLOL.
Boo, thanks for the kind words
So, anyhow, I’ve gotten my hands slapped in the past for hi-jacking threads so it is probably best to get back on track now that I’ve been able to show off another cute kitty pic!
