I recently read ‘Big Trouble’, the novel by Dave Barry, and found it hilarious. I know a movie is being made of it (possibly already completed) but has been delayed due to the 9/11 attacks. The book paints a very scathing picture of airline security, and there are other elements reminiscent of recent events.
How long do you think this will be delayed? If you haven’t read the book yet, I’ll tell you some of the probable reasons for it’s delay below, but these are fairly big spoilers so some of you might want to avoid reading them if you want to be surprised.

SPOILERS
In the book some small-time thugs come into possession of a suitcase-size nuclear device, thinking it contains money, drugs, or emeralds, and unwittingly activate it’s countdown sequence. They manage to get it on board a plane bound for the Bahamas with little trouble, providing obviously false identification information to get past airport employees who just don’t care and are portrayed as buffoons. They hijack the plane, and the government comes very close to shooting it down to prevent it from going off in a populated area. That last part reminded me of when the President said they were ready to shoot down passenger planes that were hijacked.
