How long does your morning bathroom routine take?

One hour from alarm going off to out the door. I shave and shower before bed to make the morning more efficient.

Take morning pills. Pee. Weigh myself. Dress. Go downstairs let dog out. Let her in, give her biscuit, send her back upstairs. Sit down to computer, take and record blood sugar and weight. Play computer games or surf web while eating cereal. More computer time after eating, then put lunch in cooler, fill my water cooler and head out the door. Computer time- 45 minutes. Everything else- 15 minutes. I need to somehow work in more computer time.

I’m out the door in about 10 minutes, unless I shower then it will be about 20.

I like to take about 4 hours. There, now don’t you feel better, Larry Mudd?

Heh. I already feel better, thanks.

(My routine is pretty much clockwork - I look at the Dope until 7:00am, and then I head for the bathroom to poop, shave, brush my teeth, and shower. I am out of the bathroom at 7:15.)

I don’t think I take more than 10-12 minutes from the time I sit on the throne, thru showering, teeth brushing, face moisturizing, and pit deodorizing. I don’t do makeup or anything other than comb my hair, so the little dab of face cream is my total beauty treatment.

Even when at my leisure, I can’t spend hours in the shower. Get in, get clean, rinse, get out. I don’t understand how my spousal unit can stand in there, just stand, under the water… each to his own, I guess.

I take about 30 minutes from up to out the door. This can be as short as 10 minutes, as long as 45 depending on unusual circumstances.

I get up, go downstairs, hit the head, shower, shave (in the shower), brush my teeth (usually in the shower), comb my hair, go back upstairs, dress, get my stuff together from wherever I left it the night before, kiss my wife goodbye and head out.

I’d guess the bathroom/shower part of that is between 15 and 20 minutes, depending on how much hot water and steam it takes to get my blood to start running and my nose to stop.
