As others have noted, there are numerous places on the internet where people can interact. So you need to figure out a way to make people decide to go to your site. The easiest way is to form a connection with something that already has an audience. This site, for example, was founded around the readers of an existing newspaper column.

You’re not in the Pit. Swearing (aka obscenities) is allowed on these fora, although there are rules about how and when they can be used, mostly related to personal insults.
For someone who claims to be on the WWW since [del]1976[/del] 1996, your naivete of basic message board web terms, let along using a message board, speaks more volumes than what you actually post.
I visited your blog. I suggest you spend a considerable amount of time reading the posts on the SDMB as a way to learn how to write a convincing argument. Otherwise your blog will end up like the other 99 percent of blogs on the web.

This thread goes on my SDNTL(Straight Dope Notable Thread List) coz even after rereading for the third time and despite getting ‘warned’, it works better than my anti-depressant.
Were most of your efforts prior to the year 2000? Maybe part of your problem is there weren’t that many people going online in 1976. Also, you may want to post a public listing of your domains somewhere.

Yes, but used in other ways there is a minimal fee.
