You are indeed blessed.
April was a popular month. 28 years in April.
40 years, 41 in May. We met 47 years ago, but never lived closer than 600 miles apart until we got married.
We’ve been together over 31 years, but weren’t allowed to get married until 3.5 years ago (Thank you, SCOTUS).
We got married on our shared birthday.
35 years, which is pretty amazing considering we dated only 4 weeks before eloping…
Ditto. 39+ years, counting the year the gummint defined us as POSSLQ’s.
This summer will be 27 years together, 20 years married.
34 years together, 31 married
This makes me think of a certain event.
I was married in August of 2003. My only other sibling, a sister, was getting married a few months later in December. So weddings and marriage were on our family’s mind.
A few days after I and my wife returned home from our honeymoon my grandmother unexpectedly died. I remember leaving the funeral home and my grandfather put his arm around me and my sister as we walked out. He said that he and my grandmother had always talked about making to 50 years, and they were so close but didn’t make it. Even though he knew he would not be there to see it, he really hoped that we could make it to 50 for him.
We are both going strong at 15 years.
Almost 10 years.
32 years last Aug. Got married <9 mos after our first date.
On 08-08-2019, it will be 21 years married, 23 years together.
Congrats, LI!
The Heiress and I will hit the 28-year mark this August. I still smile when I remember that broiling hot Vermont day when we got married. Our three sons are almost all grown and we’re both in good health. Life is good.
Married June 13th, 1981.
First date October 13th, 1973.
First meeting sometime in the last week of August 1973, at the start of 11th grade.
In September it will be 35 years.
We got married on Labor Day weekend thinking that we’ll always have a long weekend for our anniversary. Then I became a professional musician and I always work on holiday weekends. At least sometimes it’s a nice out of town gig so she can come along.
35 years last December.
