B) 27 (and my husband was 31)

B) 27 for me and my wife was 32
I got engaged after dating my (now) husband for 4 years, 3 months.
We were married 14 months later, right after I turned 24. He had just turned 27.
(That was about six weeks ago.)
A) Two and a half months of dating, then we got married (however, we were good friends for two years prior to dating)
B) I was 25, he was 23. We will celebrate our two year anniversary in February.
First wife.
a) We were high school sweethearts, broke up, got back together about 4-5 years later. Dated for about a year before we got married.
b) We were both around 21-22 when we got married. It lasted 10 months.
Second and current wife.
a) Dated about 7-8 years.
b) Married around the age of 30-31. Will be happily married for 9 years on Sept 28th.
In both cases there was no long engagement. Once the word “married” came into the picture we tied the knot within a few months.
a) We knew each other for almost 3 months before the wedding.
b) I was 22 and hubby was 24. We’ll celebrate our 21st anniversary on Dec. 30th!

A) Arranged marriage, no dating before engagement.

a) Special circumstances: separated by 1200 miles. Became friends by mail, fell in love over a period of 6 months by written word and phone. Became engaged at 7 months upon first meeting. So no “dating”, although there was a “courtship” period. Engagement lasted two years.

A) He proposed on the third date (which was also the third day we knew each other) but I didn’t accept until 9 months later.

Dating for just shy of 2 years before the question was popped.

I was 24 and he was 27 when we got married.
1 year of dating, then
4 years of living together, then
1 year of engagement (while still living together)
both almost 25 when married.
Married 11 years.
Dated for 2 1/2 years, throughout our last 2 years of college, before we got engaged.
Married at 23 (me) and 24 (him).
Celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary last April.
(Oh, and though it wasn’t asked, let me offer a bit of unsolicited advice: If, when you get married, the trend is mile high hair and huge shoulder pads, resist the urge to be trendy. Your children will make fun of you.)
We were long-distance for a couple years, because we met over the internet. Two or three years of online/long distance dating, immediately followed by a year of living together, a yearish of engagement, and three months (as of today) of marriage.
