How long to let PT lumber equilibrate w/ humidity?

How long would it be best to wait before sealing this lumber with linseed oil? It’s the common grade of pressure treated lumber (yellow pine I guess), 2 x 4, 16 foot lengths that I will cut down to 12 foot 3 inch lengths. It is to be the bar that slides across a gate in brackets, to keep the gate from opening in the breeze. It was wet to the touch in Home Depot, and I left it out in the sun over the weekend, flipping frequently. Now it’s dry to the touch and stored in a pole barn where the breeze can get it but the rain cannot.

I want to wait until it has done much of whatever warping it will do in coming to equilibrium with outdoor humidity, then cut the straightest 12’3" out of each board and seal them with the oil.

What would be a good time to wait?

Thanks!
