How many charter members vs. total active members?

My understanding is that they didn’t get complimentary accounts accross the board – just a few. Is there a thread about this I can read?

I don’t have any thread cite, but via email with TubaDiva right after the new suscription policy was announced, she mentioned to me that the intent was that staff members, including the Science Advisory staff, were going to be receiving complimentary accounts.

I hope I haven’t disclosed anything that was meant to be confidential.

Nah … you’re in the clear. UncleBeer has already posted about it:

SDSAB (and the message board staff, of course) have been given complementary subscriptions to the boards by the Chicago Reader in appreciation for their service.

Just counted 2,850 (without SDSAB and Mods) !! Looks like we’ll snug up the 3,000 nicely.

I also count 119 charter members online.
